This is John Owen's second season of playing Fall soccer. He really enjoys playing goalie, and he's pretty good at it. Here are some shots from last Saturday's game. I love the one of him "down and ready!" Jan is helping coach John Owen's team, so I tried to include some shots of the both of them on the field. His team was undefeated last year! And until last Sat. he was still undefeated. Sadly, we suffered our first loss to a good team. It was a good time for the lesson of "winning isn't everything." :-)
And here's what the rest of us are doing during these soccer games! :-) Jonah and I go on our weekly hunt for acorns while Mary Claire usually naps or gets to sit in Daddy Nick's or Mimi's lap. Notice the changing leaves on the tree in the background! Don't you just love the fall? I am ready for some REAL cool weather! :-)
